Christian and Ian embrace their inner animal and go for a naked, moonlit walk in the bayou.

For this episode, we discuss one of the biggest horror events of the year, James Wan's latest haunted house movie, THE CONJURING 2. For our Thrill List segment we list our Top 3 Horror Humanimals. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment, we dig into the 1982 remake of CAT PEOPLE. After listening to this episode you will be convinced that we are fans of James Wan, Jeff Goldblum, David Bowie, women, the dad from Home Alone, and the jungle cat within all of us.

Christian and Ian ponder what it would be like to be in a loveless marriage with Kevin Bacon.

For this episode, we are joined by a guest, Dash Kwiatkowski, to discuss the Native American ghost movie, THE DARKNESS, and attempt to uncover just some of the many problematic elements. For the middle segment, Dash shares his Horrigin Story and discusses his earliest horror memories and why he is still a fan of the genre. Finally for our Movie from the Crypt segment, Dash selected the 2004 SyFy original movie, FRANKENFISH, and we discuss the art of bad movies. We also discuss Paul Reiser, getting Wendy's delivered to your house, and whether it was Taye Diggs or Mekhi Phifer in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

We are now on Stitcher! You can now listen to all our episodes and subscribe for future episodes on both the iTunes and Stitcher platforms. Please take a minute to leave us a review on whichever service you use.

Christian and Ian's cat is missing, but recording a podcast will reveal the truth. For the new film review we check out the claustrophobic Neo-Nazi movie, GREEN ROOM. For our Thrill List segment we list (and often agree about) our Top 3 Non-Franchise Masks. Finally, the Movie from the Crypt for this episode is a recent gem from Canada, PONTYPOOL, about a radio station responding to some kind of outbreak. We also debut a new segment, Jump Scares, in which we have a keyword that once said will interrupt our conversation so we can talk about a bad movie for 5ish minutes. This time the inaugural bad film is the shameless Jurassic World rip-off, ZOOMBIES. We also discuss how people find their identity in subcultures, Bush-era imperialism, and our deep fear of all things burlap.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook and Twitter.

Christian and Ian grab a guest and spend the night at a nearly abandoned motel. For this episode, we are joined by Christian's wife, Katie, who makes her podcasting debut. For the new film review, we check out a VOD offering about a cultish dinner party, THE INVITATION. For our middle segment, Katie shares her Horrigin Story and discusses her earliest horror memories and what led to her being a fan of the genre today. Finally for our Movie from the Crypt segment, Katie decides it's high time we discuss Hitchcock's horror classic, PSYCHO, which she just saw for the first time in preparation for this show. We also discuss sexually charged giggles, Vince Vaughn, and the Pax TV series- Miracle Pets.

For the new film review, we turn to Netflix once again this time for the latest Blumhouse production, the home invasion thriller, HUSH. For the Thrill List segment we list our Top 3 Horror Dinner Parties. Finally, we tap horror icon Cronenberg for the Movie from the Crypt and discuss his 1981 film, SCANNERS. We also discuss exploding heads, neck tattoos, pus, Sasha Grey, and (fondly?) remember the film Thir13en Ghosts.

Christian and Ian wade through an abandoned pool with mold ghosts for this episode. For the new film review, we dig into the Thai film, THE BLUE HOUR, which is available on Netflix Instant under it's foreign title, Onthakan. For our Thrill List segment we list creative executions for our Favorite Vessels of Death. Finally, by recommendation, we revisit a recent favorite, YOU'RE NEXT. We discuss a ghost metaphor for being closeted, forget the word "mold" and share some oddly sentimental memories of the Final Destination series.

For the new film review, we discuss a rom-com horror movie, NINA FOREVER, that isn't particularly romantic, comedic, or horrific. For the Thrill List segment, we name our Top 3 Creepiest Kids. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt, we discuss a Criterion-approved horror classic, THE INNOCENTS.

Christian and Ian are back with a two-man show and ready for a drive down the highway to the middle of nowhere. For the new film review, we discuss the latest horror anthology film, SOUTHBOUND, which is now on VOD. For the Thrill List segment, we name our Top 3 Horror Movies for People Who Don't Like Horror Movies. Finally, our Movie from the Crypt pick is a recent favorite of one of the hosts, KILL LIST.

NOTE: we were recording this episode during the exact moments when Donald Trump was talking about the size of his penis during a Republican Debate.

Feb 24, 2016

Christian and Ian went out into the wood and found 2 guests to join them on this podcast. For the new film review, we finally get to discuss the New England folktale, THE WITCH, our most anticipated film of the year. For our segment we have Eric Madsen (of The Flicksation Podcast) share his earliest horror memories by telling his Horrigin Story. Finally, Eric brought a Movie from the Crypt with him, the 1988 campy anatomy doll move, PIN. During this episode we also get creeped out by the term for "fear of dolls," discuss the logistics of medical dummy sex, and ponder the effect a crop top wearing Johnny Depp can have on impressionable, young movie watchers.

Christian and Ian are back to travel back in time (to 1955 and the 1800s) and discuss horror movies. For our new film review we discuss the zombie treatment of a literary classic, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, and how successful it is at injecting genre tropes into the romance story. Inspired by that new film, our Thrill List this episode has us running down our Top 3 Bookish Horror Movies. Finally, our Movie from the Crypt is the 1955 classic, DIABOLIQUE, which was fun to discuss because we got to say a lot of French names. This episode features complaints and clarifications about the titles of movies, discussion about how weird it is to give a Bible to a child, and shared doubts about how many of the P&P&Z filmmakers are probably not real people.

Jan 31, 2016

Christian and Ian are back and (uncharacteristically) spoil every movie they talk about this episode. For our new film review we decide to babysit THE BOY and discuss if it fit our expectations and the surprising third act. We keep talking about endings for our Thrill List in which we list our Top 3 Twist Endings in a horror film. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment, we discuss the modern classic, MARTYRS, the 2008 brutal french film. This episode features discussion of the theological implications of accepting depravity and hopelessness, why religious faith is tainted by certainty, and the E.T. ride from Universal Studios.

Jan 18, 2016

Christian and Ian are back with a very special episode that tries to sum up 2015 as neatly as possible. 3 lists are discussed- Top 6 Films of 2015, Top 6 New To Us Films of 2015, and Worst 6 of 2015. Three lists of 6 is why this 6th episode of the podcast is called "Episode 666." There is also discussion of the 2016 film, THE FOREST, which we try not to beat up on, partially because of our admiration of Natalie Dormer. Join us in celebrating all the dark arts had to offer us in 2015!

Dec 24, 2015

Christian and Ian want to wish a very scary Christmas to all our listeners. Take care because Krampus is near this time of year. We complete our back to back episodes of reviewing Krampus related films. This time around it's the Canadian import now on VOD, A CHRISTMAS HORROR STORY. We keep things chilly for our Thrill List segment as we discuss our "Top 3 Coldest Horror Movies." Finally, we pull another Movie from the Crypt and discuss the holiday horror classic, BLACK CHRISTMAS, its restraint, and its influence on the horror genre. This episode features discussion of sexually awkward teenagers, Nazi zombies and perverted phone calls.

Christian and Ian get into the holiday spirit with the first Christmas themed episode of the month. The new film up for discussion is the big screen debut of European anti-Santa Claus folklore, KRAMPUS. For the returning Thrill List segment, the cohosts discuss failed camp by listing their "Top 3 so bad, they're terrible." For the Movie from the Crypt we take up a listener on their recommendation and check out the 80s trashy gem, CHOPPING MALL. This episode features disagreements, discussion of pepperoni as an aphrodisiac and the terror of "The Shinning."

Christian and Ian are joined by their first guest, Calah, to continue their conversation on horror movies new, old, obscure, classic and trashy. The new film up for discussion is Lyle, which is  a feminist reimagining of Rosemary's Baby now available on VOD. Then, we add another Horrigin Story to our collection as Calah shares her history with the spooky genre. Finally, our Movie from the Crypt is Ti West's haunted hotel movie, The Innkeepers, and there is discussion of lighting, Lena Dunham and early 2000s Internet Porn.

Nov 14, 2015

Christian and Ian reconvene after the spooky holiday to continue their conversation on horror movies new, old, obscure, classic and trashy. The 2015 movie discussed, THE FINAL GIRLS, is a horror comedy that pays homage to 80s slasher movies, like Friday the 13th, and is now available on VOD. The cohosts also share their "Top 3 movies featuring literal cults" for the show's first ever Thrill List segment. Finally, the episode is rounded out by pulling another Movie from the Crypt. This time the unearthed gem is Dario Argento's seminal Giallo film, SUSPIRIA, and there is a discussion of aesthetics, mood vs. plot, and being trapped in a pile of razorwire.
