Christian and Ian are here for the unrelieved orgy of sadism.

Our Overkill series is back. We will be watching every entry in Romero's "Dead" franchise. At the end of each episode we will answer the question- are we still in on this franchise or is it overkill? To kick off the return of this series we discuss the essential zombie movie, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. We dig into the film's independent production, the controversy regarding the film's violence, and what the film could be trying to say politically/thematically. We also discuss hillbilly militias, chocolate syrup covered ham, and Mother's Day Brunch.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Letterboxd.

We are about to go through all of the movies in George Romero's "of the Dead" series. To commemorate this occasion we decided to release an episode of highlights from our previous Overkill series about the Scream franchise. Tune in to hear some of our thoughts on all 4 Scream movies and both seasons of the MTV series.

If you want to have the full experience, all 6 episodes talking about the Scream franchise are available earlier in the feed in their entirety.

Stay tuned for our Night of the Living Dead conversation next week when Overkill returns because these days you gotta have a sequel.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. you can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Letterboxd.

We double down on new releases and also review the classroom torture porn movie, THE LESSON. Finally for our Movie from the Crypt segment we discuss the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers. We also discuss the No Child Left Behind Act, mac and cheese bites, and the Jennifer Love Hewitt film Can't Hardly Wait.

Christian and Ian have not, nor will they ever, return leather pants.

For this episode we discuss a couple of very different movies and announce the return of our Overkill series. We will be discussing every entry from a horror franchise in the near future and you can help us choose which series. Head over to our twitter (@ItsOnlyaPodcast) poll and vote for which franchise you'd like us to discuss. The options are- Nightmare on Elm Street, Night of the Living Dead, The Evil Dead, and Final Destination. For our new film review we discuss the arthouse thriller PERSONAL SHOPPER. For our Movie from the Crypt segment we discuss the pseudo sequel HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT 2. We also discuss swimming in chalkboards, explosion-less fireworks, and how mesmerizing it is to watch Kristen Stewart text.

Christian and Ian promise that they have never eaten any fingers.

For this episode we decide to triple down on new releases to try and keep up with the breakneck pace of horror releases so far in 2017. The first movie up for review is the killer alien in space retread, LIFE. Next up we discuss Oz Perkins' sophomore film about evil spirits at a girls' boarding school, THE BLACKCOAT'S DAUGHTER. Finally, we review the festival favorite cannibal movie, RAW. We also discuss nauseating skin rashes, haters, and coulrophobia.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Mar 20, 2017

Christian and Ian will watch Jeff Goldblum's acrobatics all day, everyday.

For this episode we further examine Jason Blum's stranglehold on all things mainstream horror. Our new movie up for review is the low budget movie about office workers tasked with killing each other, THE BELKO EXPERIMENT. For our Movie from the Crypt segment we check out the David Cronenberg body horror classic, THE FLY. We also discuss the disturbing CG face of Beast from the new Beauty and the Beast, the dangers of arm wrestling, and the University of Kansas Jayhawks

For this episode we finally get to discuss one of our most anticipated movies of the year. Our new movie review is Jordan Peele's racially charged directorial debut, GET OUT. For our Movie from the Crypt segment we check out the abduction thriller, THE VANISHING. We also discuss sleeping pills, how funny it is to use chloroform on yourself, and lacrosse sticks (or whatever the hell they're called).

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian have an illness and the cure is eels, or something...

For this episode we are still trying to keep pace with the horror releases of the new year. The first movie we review is a female-centric anthology called XX. For our Thrill List segment we name our Top 3 Horror Movies We Wanted to Turn Off After 10 Minutes. Finally, we review Gore Verbinski's return to horror, A CURE FOR WELLNESS. We also discuss green skies, eel water, and threats involving 12 inch BBCs.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Feb 6, 2017

Christian and Ian find themselves somewhere between a sequel and a reboot.

For this episode we are still drowning in new movies to talk about so we double dip again on new releases. The first movie we review is the supposed capstone to a long running zombie franchise, RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER, and we discuss whether or not it is a satisfying conclusion. For our middle segment, we bring up a film from last year that is now available on VOD in hopes that more people will check out The Love Witch. Finally, the other 2017 horror sequel for us to discuss is part 3 of the long dormant Ring series, RINGS. We also discuss clones, vintage VCRs, and boring white people.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Jan 24, 2017

Christian and Ian say hello to the new year and adios to the Bye Bye Man.

For this episode we take a look forward at what 2017 horror offerings are looking like. The first movie we review is the boogeyman knockoff, THE BYE BYE MAN. For our Movie from the Crypt we indulge in a recommendation and watch a Japanese found footage movie, NOROI: THE CURSE. Finally, we have a spoiler-filled discussion of M. Night Shyamalan's latest comeback effort, SPLIT. We also discuss demon dogs, evil bedside tables, and urinating children.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian are back and trying to figure out what the numbers mean.

On this episode, we condense an entire year's worth of horror offerings into 3 lists- Top 6 Movies of 2016, Top 6 New to Us Movies of 2016, and Worst 6 of 2016. 3 lists of 6 films each, hence the 666 title for this episode. We also read all the emails and comments we received with other folks' lists from the year. We briefly discuss why terrible things happening in the real world draws us into escapist cinema, we agree quite a bit throughout our various lists, and we also bicker like schoolchildren about what should or shouldn't be considered a horror movie.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian work through mommy issues.

For this episode we debrief Ian's globetrotting and wrap discussions on new movies for this year. For our new film review we talk about an indie, black and white, debut feature called THE EYES OF MY MOTHER. For our Thrill List segment we continue the mom talk and name our Top 3 Horror Mothers. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment we talk about the Ingmar Bergman classic, HOUR OF THE WOLF. We also discuss foot fetishes, creepy baths, and fingering people's souls.

Dec 12, 2016

Christian and Ian hate adults.

We are at the end of the road for our first Overkill series. We have discussed every entry of the Scream franchise, and it has all led to season 2 of the MTV series. After discussing each entry we try and answer whether or not we are still in on this franchise or if at this point it is overkill. We were surprisingly mostly onboard for season one, but still had many reservations that MTV could successfully adapt this beloved series a second time. We discuss the surprising Halloween special, the more comfortable way the show referencing horror, and what we can expect from season 3. We also discuss Scooby Doo, how boring parents are, and Christian again forces a reference to The OC.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

While the Cryptkeeper's away the mice will play.

Ian is still globetrotting so Christian invites some previous guests, Tyler Belk and Calah Skelton, to make their triumphant return to IOAP and talk some movies. The new movie up for review is a VOD emotional horror offering called THE MONSTER. For Movie from the Crypt, Calah chose a found footage movie based on a fake ghost hunter TV show, GRAVE ENCOUNTERS. We also discuss Arnold Schwarzenegger, lesbian roommates, and insufferable millenials who go to Coachella. Oh, and satanists.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian try and find out if Wes Craven had anything to do with video killing the radio star.

Why did we watch the first season of MTV's Scream series? That's a fair question, and the answer is that we are in our first Overkill series of episodes in which we watch all entries of a horror franchise and attempt to answer whether or not we are still in on this franchise or if at this point it is overkill. We have already discussed all of the movies so now we turn to the younger generation to see if kids who are growing up with Snapchat can faithfully continue this beloved franchise. We discuss the show's many departures, our thoughts on the killer reveal, and whether or not the Brandon James mythos is a worthy follow up to Ghostface. We also discuss how old these alleged high schoolers look, The OC, and pornography that is actually printed on paper.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian don't know which country to be the most scared of.

For this episode, we embrace escapism. For our new film review we check out the very quiet Netflix Original movie, I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE. Four our Thrill List segment, we name our Top 3 Scariest Vacations in horror movies. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment we discuss the 1980s creature feature classic, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. We also discuss Bob Balaban, what happens in porn theaters, and the real and imaginary reasons that Ian is fleeing the country.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Christian and Ian are back and trying to survive the reboot.

We are continuing our Overkill series and are discussing SCREAM 4 this time around. During this series we are trying to answer whether or not we are still in on this franchise or if at this point it is overkill. We discuss the horror genre during the decade since the last movie, Wes Craven's unfortunate passing, and the core cast of this series. We also figured out the secret message of this movie- let the children die.

For our Thrill List segment we name our Top 3 Favorite Demons. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment we discuss the 60s creepy kid/Cold War paranoia movie, CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED. Christian and Ian have found a new home in Hollywood and hope to survive the incessant rewrites.

Happy Halloween! We celebrate the spooky holiday and our first year as a podcast by continuing our Overkill series and discussing SCREAM 3. As always, we are trying to answer whether or not we are still in on this franchise or if at this point it is overkill. We touch on the film's many rewrites, potential character resurrections, and how Columbine effected the production of this installment. We also discuss car phones, awful cameos, and the hit Will Smith album- Willenium.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Oct 24, 2016

Christian and Ian cannot find their Jane Fonda workout tape, and they are very upset about it.

For this episode, we check out foreign horror cinema new and old to get our pre-Halloween festivities going. For our new film review, we check out the Iran-set Djinn movie, UNDER THE SHADOW. As a Spooky Month treat we have Big Al Robinson (AKA The Listman) send in his Top 3 Slasher Killers for our Thrill List segment. Finally, we check out a New French Extremity movie about a creepy inbred family, FRONTIER(S). We also discuss tasteful portrayals of hunched backs, far-right conservative politicians, and confusing punctuation.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Oct 17, 2016

Christian and Ian are blissfully aware that these days you gotta have a sequel.

This episode continues our Overkill series in which we watch all the entries of an established horror franchise. In each episode we try to answer the question- are you still in on this franchise, or at this point is it overkill? We are currently on part 2 of the series and discussing SCREAM 2. We try and put ourselves in the mindset of the late 90s slasher craze that this movie was released in, lament perhaps the most tragic death of the series, and praise the inclusion of Omar Epps and Jada Pinkett in the movie's opening and some much needed racial-politics-in-horror-movies conversation. Note: for this episode, Christian's role is performed by Tori Spelling, while Ian is replaced by Luke Wilson.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. you can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and join us for #31DaysofHalloween on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Oct 10, 2016

Christian and Ian are definitely not dressing up as clowns and wandering through the forest.

For this episode, we are trapped for 12 hours to discuss Rob Zombie's latest spooky month offering, 31. For our Thrill List segment, we catch you up on our #31DaysofHalloween film fest and list our Top 3 Movies to get you in the Mood for Halloween. Finally, for our Movie from the Crypt segment we discuss a recent Overkill runner-up, Gore Verbinski's remake classic, THE RING. We also discuss Ian's past clown-related trauma, powdered wigs, and horse's eyes.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us at: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Oct 3, 2016

Christian and Ian are running upstairs when they should be going out the front door.

This episode is the launch of a new series in which we watch all the entries of an established horror franchise. In each episode we try to answer the question- are you still in on this franchise, or at this point is it overkill? For the inaugural run of the Overkill series we are discussing the SCREAM franchise. We dig into the first film's production, key scenes and performances, and the film's lingering effects on your hosts and the horror genre as a whole. We also discuss doggie doors, nipples, and the the Richard Gere gerbil rumor/legend.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or any requests you have. You can contact us: ItsOnlyFeedback@gmail.com and join us for #31DaysofHalloween on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
